Description

The Avionics Technician performs maintenance of aircraft to ensure functionality of electronic and electrical systems. Responsible for maintenance and preventative maintenance of the aircraft electronic and electrical systems. The component level/bench technicians are responsible for the maintenance and preventative maintenance of all LRU’s as determined by their repair capabilities list. Technicians also support the flight line and hangar as required. All maintenance is performed IAW established procedures and the Federal Aviation Regulations. Performs additional functions (essential or otherwise) as may be assigned from time to time. Demonstrate behavior in accordance with Endeavor Air “Code of Conduct” in all Company business dealings and decisions. Demonstrate a high level of focus on customer service. Requires contact with staff and business relationships including the FAA.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Must hold a valid Airframe and Power Plant mechanics license or be eligible to apply for and receive a repairman certificate.
  • FCC license preferred
  • 1 year experience working as an Avionics Technician OR successful completion of an accredited Avionics school/program (Military training/experience is acceptable)
  • Professional work experience in the aviation mechanics preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic, reliable, self-motivated with a positive attitude, and very customer service oriented.
  • Ability to travel internationally and passport is required within 3 months of hire. Passport expenses are paid for by the employee.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and if position requires use of company vehicle(s), must be insurable under company insurance coverage.
